Upsilon Rho Chapter President
Dear Upsilon Rho Chapter Members,
Hi, all! My name is Lynn Glenn, and I am happy to introduce myself as the new President of the Upsilon Rho Sigma Chapter for the next two years. I have been involved with Upsilon Rho in a variety of positions, and I am now excited to be assuming the position of President.
A little about me: I was originally a biology and communications major at what was, at the time, Glassboro State College, which is now Rowan University, earning a Bachelor of Science in these areas and then a Master’s degree in Communications. I moved on to earn a Master’s degree in Medical Anthropology and Women’s Studies from Rutgers.
In 2000, I started to pursue degrees in nursing: First, an Associate’s degree in Nursing from Mercer County Community College, then a BSN, MSN, and MBA from Thomas Edison State University, and most recently, a Doctor of Health Science degree from Drexel University. I am currently employed as an Oncology Research Nurse, and I have worked as a Cancer Registrar, Patient Relations Specialist, and Navigator, as a Med/Surg nurse, Biology Teacher, and a part-time instructor in a number of courses at several community colleges.
My priorities as your president will build on what our former excellent presidents initiated, including building a stronger member engagement and supporting our chapter members with professional development opportunities.
Please feel free to reach out to me anytime at sigmaupsilonrho@gmail.com. We can always use eager members with new ideas and commitment to nursing and the sciences.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Upsilon Rho.
Warm regards,
Lynn Glenn, DHSc, MBA, MSN, BSN, MA, BA, OCN, CBCN, ACRP

UPSILON RHO CHAPTER IS COMMITTED TO INTERNATIONAL NURSING
Orphan Medical Network International (O.M.N.I) Mission
Upsilon Rho Chapter supports the work of O.M.N.I. Medical Mission in Zambia. We sponsor a little girl at the mission school and are always happy to get an update on how she is doing. If you would like to support the work of the mission that was started by a registered nurse. Please message our chapter for more information.

INTERNATIONAL INTER-CHAPTER COLLABORATION
Upsilon Rho Chapter, in collaboration with Kappa Chi of Region 12, has shipped 15 boxes of nursing and medical textbooks donated by Temple University to the Sigma Theta Tau chapter in Liberia (a member of the Phi Gamma Chapter) to support Phebe Nursing School and other institutions in advancing nursing and health science education.

INTERNATIONAL NURSING RESEARCH CONGRESS
Upsilon Rho Chapter has partnered with the Alpha Beta Upsilon at-large Chapter in Sierra Leone for some of their efforts. Representatives from the two chapters met at the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing 35th International Nursing Research Congress in Singapore in July 2024.
